Episode 12: Advocating for Your Child in Schools

Carissa Davis, a mom of a child with disabilities in the WFISD, talks about her journey of learning to advocate for her child both at the individual level and on behalf of all Special Education students in our district. You’ll hear about her journey to get proper services for her daughter as well as the current efforts to bring back needed staff to the SPED administration and support staff.
