The Bridge Program

Teen Transition & After-School Services

Building Confidence. Developing Independence. Preparing for the Future.

Established in 2017, The Bridge Program provides a supportive and engaging after-school environment for teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Designed to help bridge the gap between adolescence and adulthood, the program focuses on developing essential life skills, building friendships, encouraging independence, and preparing teens for future opportunities.

Through a combination of structured activities, recreational experiences, and community involvement, teens have opportunities to strengthen communication, social, independent living, and employment-readiness skills while enjoying time with their peers.

Activities may include meal preparation, grocery shopping, fitness and recreation, volunteering, community outings, and other hands-on experiences that promote personal growth and confidence.

We recognize that every teen has unique abilities, interests, and goals. Our staff encourage individual choice, self-expression, and skill development in a welcoming environment where teens can relax, have fun, and build meaningful connections after their school day.
